I, myself, painted designs on my walls with glow in the dark paint. It is tinted yellow, and you can see it in the day time on white walls. With blue walls, I think it would turn where you painted a tinted green. But then again, it may not.

I don’t think it’s a bad idea, you could always get washable glow in the dark paint so in case you don’t like it, you can wash it off. There’s an 8 oz bottle of glow in the dark paint for less than $5 in the craft section at Walmart, that’s the cheapest I found. If you wanted more, you could always look at craft supply stores.
