Well I guess it all depends on how old she is or her maturity level. Of course I’d go with earth tones, greens, blues, browns, purples. Keep things light and flow-y. Draping, canopy, lots of light— sunlight. Chiffon curtains work best with letting in light. Plants, whether they are real or artificial. Make terrariums out of empty glass jars, like mason jars, milk jars, fruit jars. Or out of an old fish bowl or tank.

If the girl is younger, I’d say go with lighter wooden furniture. If she’s at least a teenager, then metal furniture would work. And with that, I mean the bed and the night stands.
